Exercising with a 15 year old!

How many of you are still competitive as a mid-30's something with children. I worked out with my daughter with the wii fit and found that I still want to win and win badly. Even though I really wanted to win, it didn't necessarily happen, but I gave it my best shot. We worked a little on the wii fit doing the yoga part. We didn't spend much time on the wii fit yoga but we did spend a great deal of time using the wii, for playing the hula-hoop and we also ran quite a bit as well. The running didn't go so well for me, my daughter smoked me on the wii fit running but I did well on the hula-hoop. I felt as though I may kill over toward the end but it was fun to work out with someone else, especially my lovely daughter. Hope you have a great day.

Using a Video Game to Exercise - Today's Special Guest, My Nephew!

Good Morning,
Today is a great day. Today I decided to exercise a little with my nephew that is 2 1/2 years old. It was very interesting to see him using the video games and being excited about them. We started with the stretches and aerobics. He really like to run and we traded off and on with the hula hoop portion of the game. He really likes the sports, especially basketball and boxing. He did much better than I and he understands the games as well. I can see why young people enjoy these games, it is much more enjoyable than just regular jogging or working out. Well have a great day!

Weight Loss Playing Video Games

Good morning,
This was a rough morning. I am still using the video game console to work out. I first started out with the yoga; to stretch then went to run for 9 minutes; then did the hula for 6 min, that's probably my favorite. I did the lunge and side stretch and finished with more yoga for my abs. The running and the lunges seem to hurt my foot and back the most.

About 3 years ago I was roofing my house and fell off, it was about a 20-foot drop. I am lucky to be alive but I have a few injuries; I have 5 pins and a medal plate that put my foot back together.

If you have any tips or hints on making exercising not so painful please let me know. Because of lack of exercise and old age (37) I have gotten to be 33 lbs over weight. So please help me on my way to get back to the right size.
